I gave in and read it. And I agree, it wasn't that spoiling.

This was a really good episode. I first thought that the Marine's wife was the culprit, but I was wrong. If anyone missed it, I'll not play spoiler. I loved the way it ended, especially the lipstick print on McGee's cheek!

I liked it too, especially Ralph Waite. I've always liked him.

I don't know, but I'm beginning to wish Gibbs would lighten up just a little bit. Not a lot, that wouldn't be Gibbs. Just a bit.

And I'm beginning to think Tony and Ziva aren't very professional at crime scenes, with all that banter. Why does Gibbs put up with it?

Hmm, you think maybe I'm looking too closely?

I posted this in NCIS: Los Angeles, but:

I noticed both NCIS shows referenced the Muslim religion this week. (And implied that Christianity and Islam were related.)

It was a good episode, despite that, though.

I enjoyed whole McGee plot. "[Admiral] Nicholas Whitebeard ... in the Northern Polar region." That was just too priceless.

I think Gibbs and his dad came to a good place at the end...too many kids and their parents are in places like they were before one of them finally started talking and listening. So sad that kind of thing continues for too many years.

McGee is the MAN! what a sweetie!

And Ziva did a good thing by helping Tony be the "perfect" Santa for that lady in HR. I thought that was awesome. btw...I had a very similar doll to that when I was little.

I really liked this episode. I have one question. Was Ducky just pretending to be drunk to get Gibbs' dad to open up, or did Gibbs let a man drive who had been drinking?

I noticed that - but I noticed that as soon as Ducky went upstairs, he no longer acted drunk like he had in the basement. Methinks he was just pretending.

With all the dismay and bad situations they encounter if they did not 'banter' they would probalby lose their minds. They get the job done and that is Gibbs main objective.

To be honest that bothered me. Another action to water down the truth and make it acceptable to us so we won't protest when it becomes more blatant.

Me too.

There were good things in both shows, but the political correctness went way overboard in my opinion.

Well, that was only NCIS-LA, but I'll respond here anyway.

The Canadian (errr, Torontonian) TV station that shows NCIS/NCIS-LA also has shows from other US networks. There was some sort of special, live cooking show from another network (FOX?) on in NCIS-LA's usual time slot. So they moved NCIS-LA up to 10:00 on Monday instead of 9:00 Tuesday.

We do also get CBS from Buffalo, and it carried NCIS-LA only at its regular time. So we could've watched it again if we wanted to.

I LOVED the Christmas episode. I teared up with Tony's gift, McGee's 'gift', and Gibbs reconnecting with his dad. While his dad was talking I noticed that Gibbs had his hand on his shoulder, and I thought that was a very sweet detail. I do wish Gibbs would lighten up just a tad, not alot, just a teeny bit would be nice. I LOVED how he was now making wooden toys...but taking sleds to kids in a hospital? Great episode.

I did notice the references to Chrisitanity and Islame being "the same" didnt dig that. But I did like how the dad of the dead Marine, even though they disagreed still recognized that family is family. I thought the brother did it, he walked into the room I told DH, "he did it" Then at one point I second guessed and said maybe the wife, shoulda just trusted my gut!

One thing about that episode that stood out for me. The guy who played Frank Fontaine in the old "Murphy Brown" show. I love it when a comic actor really does well in a dramatic role. And he most certainly did.

Btw, anybody else recognize the actress who played Abby's friend? She had a recurring role on "Boston Legal" as a lawyer. She had a relationship with Denny Crane (William Shatner's character). In fact, they were "doing the nasty" at the same time that he was having a fling with another woman . . . who just happened to be her mother (played by Delta Burke)! Imagine his surprise when he met the daughter for lunch so she could "introduce him to Mama!"

Oh, definitely caught that one. I really enjoyed Boston Legal for awhile, but one day suddenly I realized I'd had my fill of it. I could take only so much of Alan whathisname. I mean, how long can you watch a train wreck?

We like to watch NCIS and see who can guess "who done it" first. My son Joe is the champion on that and had the brother pegged from the first moment he walked in the room.

She was also in an earlier episode of CSI: Vegas, the one with the little people convention.

Didn't anybody watch it last night (1/5)? I'm surprised this thread isn't hopping all over the place.

#1. Liked McGee as the lead investigator- sort of. He was WAAYYY too much into the whole 'jet-pack' thing.
#2. LOOOVVEEED the attorney going after Gibbs. Creates a potentially awesome storyline. Especially with Colonel Bell getting out of prison.

Yeh...McGeek was definitely geeking out last night

Ziva was very funny talking about tweeking - I feel the same way.

As soon as Gibbs put the pieces together with the attorney and Col. Bell...he was not amused. One my least favorite actresses is the one playing that attorney.

I didn't get into Crosswalk last night after the episode, but I will say that I loved it. I missed the first few minutes - I was in the kitchen - but got up to speed real quick. I, too, liked McGee as Lead investigator; he seemed almost anal retentive in his attention to the details on the rocket pack. I've got to wonder, though; what got him more bamboozled in the interrogation room - the lawyer's attitude or her looks? And can somebody tell me where I've seen her before? It's driving me crazy trying to remember!

That whole Col. Bell angle could really prove to be interesting. And as I was watching, I started to think"This is the love interest that the Spoilers were talking about! She is definitely dangerous!"
